BIOS Flash CRASH

Just flashed the bios on an asus a7v, got the 'Flashed sucsessfully'
message, shut down and tried to re-boot and got nothing.
Any way to recover from this short of buying a new bios chip?
The old bios is on floppy etc. Never had this problem flashing before.
Thanks!

If you have an ISA video card, you can try to see if the bootblock is intact.

Just plug in the ISA video card and your floppy drive(nothing else), and see if it'll boot from your boot disk. if so, then update the BIOS again as usual.

Disconnect the power take the cpu out and pull the battery wait 2-3 min`s and reinstall everything and try to boot...

🙂Thanks Guys,
At this point we'll try everything!
It's my big bro's computer and he just has to have the latest
of everything. I say if it aint broke stop fixing it!
