On the first tab of dxdiag no entry for my bios is entered. According to the tech support for a game I just bought I need to get Directx to recognize my bios. I updated it but it still doesn't come up. I also have all the latest Windows updates etc.
I'm running Win 98 SE with a 600 mhz Pentium 3, with a Radeon 9200 SE and a Creative Sound Blaster Live!. I have a Gateway Tabor 3 motherboard with 320 MB of ram. Myst is the game that is crashing (during play it becomes unresponsive and the the title bar of the program appears).
AIDA32 does recognize my bios.
You really have me stumped here. The bios is obviously capable of reporting correctly if Aida32 can see it. I have no idea why it is not reported to DX. I will think on this some more.
