BIOS corrupted after computer crashed?

So I was watching some Hulu in Chrome, and Flash crashed three times for some reason, and on the third time the computer BSOD (XP), and I had to reboot the system. Then the boot screen shows up and says the BIOS had been corrupted? There's a dual BIOS system so it restored itself from a backup copy (whew!). Any ideas what might have happened? There was no power problems because everything else in the house is working fine.
