Hi, I have just finished assembling my parts for ABIT KT7A. It has Duron 650 @ 975 MHz. I do not want to risk unlocking my CPU so I just increase its FSB up to 150 MHz, therefore (150 * 6.5 = 975)

My memory won't make it up to 150 MHz CAS 2-2-2. But it can do 145 MHz CAS 2-2-2. There are some options I can choose. Should I enable AGP 4X (for Guilemmot Geforce 256 32 MB)? How much should I assign the AGP aperature?

If there are additional tips you can hint me, I would be more than grateful for that. Thanks.

I think increasing the FSB of Durons is much easier than doing the pencil trick.

As you wish, this is the complete specs:

Duron 650 @ 975 by FOP32
Abit KT7A
2 X 256 MB Infineon (145 MHz CAS2 max)
Seagate Baracudda ATA/66 20 GB
Optiquest Q95
Guilemmot Geforce 256 32 MB
SB Live! Value
Altec Lansing ACS 54
Pioneer 16X DVD-ROM
Generic casing w/ 250 W
Windows 2000

Help me out with the BIOS configuration. Can I run the FSB at 155 MHz while making the memory run at 145 MHz? "FSB plus" maybe ????

A lot of people and companies say to set AGP Aperature size to 1/2 your RAM but some people start getting problems like that, just leave it at default which is 64. I have never experimented with mines, but still.
