i overclocked my 2100+ from 12x166 [default vcore] to 9.5x200 [vcore = 1.65]; i had done this before and it had been stable for on testing but i chickened out then as i needed a crash-free machine for work [now got more time to play
]
anyway i left it running 3dmark2001se and when i got back all i saw was the desktop so i assume it dumped out to desktop; so i switched back down to 12x166....
exitted out of ram and i got the bios checksum error; turned it off at the back and when i retarted it had default-started, so i put my settings back and now it is fine but what would have caused the error and what should i be worried about?
