BIOS Change

Hey,

Been holed for two days but finally got new build up and running. XP64 loaded and have Internet access. Only two problems left. One has to do with BIOS which could fix the second. We'll see.

Can't seem to find a way to update ASUS P5WD2 Premium from 0107 to 0304 or 0422.

Tried Alt-F2 at boot and got a inconsistent ROMID. (Was using manual and renamed WD2P0422.ROM to P5WD2.ROM) Then tried AFUDOS and got "Inconsistent ROMID"

Also tried ASUS Update but got no joy. "No proper BIOS found on server" (All Three Servers). Tried ASUS Update with P5WD2.ROM on floppy but got "New BIOS image doesn't match BIOS ROM currently in use"

Lastly, tried Bios Agent but it couldn't run cause it couldn't load a "Ke386IO.sys" file.

Just finished a Corona Extra and have been trying to find filthy words in Mandarin Chinese to use on Tech Support if I can't find a way to fix this problem.

As I?m sure you?ve heard before?????.Suggestions would be appreciated!!

Don
