BIOS boot failure

I have a Sunfire x2100 server that I just put into a midsize desktop case, with 90 and 120mm fans, and a Hyper 212+ HSF. Additionally, I left out the four fans (30mm?) that were previously in it. Now it will not make it through BIOS. The computer starts up, gives 1 beep (I think this means everything is OK), and then gets up to the point to where I can read the text "Press F2 to Enter Setup, Press F8..." then shuts down. The last thing on the onboard LED screen is FF, which is a boot attempt. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

YOU say it gets to bios.but can you enter bios. if yes. then it's the HDD that wont boot. make sure all wires are connected properly.

I solved the problem. The server wasn't detecting fans. I took out a fan cable that was 4pin to 8pin for the front end piece of the motherboard. Then went into BIOS and disabled 'Shut down on fan failure'. Thanks for the help!
