Bios Beep with BX board...

Was near successful installation of W2K.....screen went bar colors and corruption and noticed CPU fan was not turning. Shut down. Tried a dif video card

Now all I get is alternating high and low tones. Please, someone refresh my memory!

Is it CPU or memory?

If your cpu fan wasn't turning, I'd suspect the cpu going belly up by being overcooked...course if you've got the case open, try removing your ram and see what beep codes you come up with then..
