I guess Capcom held a poll to see what people would be willing to pay, and of course $10 was the overwhelming popular vote instead of $15. So, they are pricing it at $10. The guy who writes in this blog seems very downtrodden that it will be priced at $10, but if you ask me, it was stupid to ask people what they wanted to pay in a poll in the first place.
 
I would still pay $15, but obviously if asked I would vote for $10. Duh.

This is how old school re-releases should be done--updated and refreshed, not just ported.
 
This is awesome! BC was one of my favorite games. I would have payed $20 bucks, but am glad its $10.

They should have priced it at $15 for the first 2-3 months then dropped it down to $10. Not that I am bothered it is starting at $10. 🙂
 
Yeah, I think overall the $10 price will get the most sales for them. People complain enough about XBLA and PSN games that cost $10 and really b!tch about XBLA games that cost $15. Putting it at $15 would have limited overall sales.
 
This just in - Capcom releases a new poll asking consumers how much they wish to pay for Street Fighter 4: $60 or $120,000. Fans rejoice as Capcom sides with the people and set it for a $60 release.
 
I'm looking forward to checking out this game. I loved the original growing up, and hear this remake is really well done.
 
Will BC:R include the original version of the game? I thought I read very early on that it would, but haven't read anything recently confirming this.
 
I will probably get this. They need to re-make Contra with this kind of quality. Compared to stuff like flOw (which is practically a screen saver) this game is a bargain..
 
I know this sounds crazy, but I might just actually consider buying a 360 for this game. BC is one of my favorite games, ever, regardless of platform.
 
Resurrecting old thread, BC: Rearmed is $5 this week for gold members. DL'd it yesterday, a good bit of fun thus far (only have about 30 mins in it).
