Funny that it's for Live Gold members only. PSN had it for half off a few weeks ago, of course, it was for everybody.

It's not even like it requires Gold to play, it's not a multiplayer game, but they're punishing people who have no interest in multiplayer.

Too bad my account is froze cause some pin dick 12 yr old hacked my account and stole 2000 points ....:|

<-----heads for the PS3 store....

Wow, so I bought this game because everyone was giving it such praise, even convinced my friend to get it, and then I find out it doesn't even have online co-op. WTF??? Guess I should've paid more attention when I bought it, but I thought online play would've been a fucking given. What a waste of $5. I really hope they add online play in a patch, or I'm probably never gonna touch this damn game.

It's an awesome single player experience, it's a shame you're so quick to dismiss it for that one reason.

The challenge levels are worth $5 all by themselves.

Well this sucks. I used one of them cards that come with games to bump up my live subscription to Gold for couple of days and it's still showing $10. Is the promotion still on?

EDIT: Well, of course there's a fine print on the card, duh:

*Xbox Live 48-hour trial allows acccess to online multiplayer gaming, but not to other Gold membership features.

Well, no sale then for me. I refuse to pay for multiplayer. Their loss. I have so many games backlogged anyway I don't even know if I would've played this one for more than half an hour.

I'm all about playing with friends, especially ones that don't live near you. I kind of thought that was the whole point of Xbox LIVE, and I just assumed a game that's being built from the ground up would've included some netcode. I played single player games throughout my entire childhood and I think we can all agree they just don't make em like they used too. This is the age of the internet and I don't really like spending money on a game unless it has the added replay value of an online component.
