Emissions standards would be met in part with a particulate filter and with DaimlerChrysler's "selective catalytic reduction" system -- the injection of urea solution into exhaust

So when the exhaust gets dirty, I can just pee on the engine? SWEETNESS!

Just run a pipe to the driver's seat that connects to the exhaust port, or maybe a holding tank, when ya gotta go, let it flow into the pipe, a never ending source. who says chrysler doesn't have neat ideas?

Do they design these things ugly on purpose so that no one buys them or takes them seriously......hence buying more gas guzzling cars boosting oil companies proffits. (to which the car companies probably own a lot of stock in)

They didn't even take the project seriously, why should we?

The inspiration for its design is an odd undersea creature called the boxfish, which engineers and designers found has some of nature's best streamlining and a structure that is lightweight but strong.

"fuel economy rating of 70 mpg would be about 30 percent higher than that achieved by a production vehicle"

I don't understand this, why can't they just have something that efficent yet throw it into a modern looking car?

Modern looking cars are heavier...

We already have them.
Civic
Accord
Highlander/RX330
Prius (looks cool to me)

Soon to be:
Camry
Altima
Upcoming Lexus models I - G

...

They really need them in cars like Corolla 4-cylinder that already gets 30+MPG
