Biologist pay - 543K to 793K a MONTH?

Performs standardized microbiological analysis of food and dairy products. Testing may require correlation with other tests before reporting result. Tests may include but are not limited to the following:

aerobic plate count
petrifilm method counts
Salmonella
Listeria
E. coli
Coliforms
Staphlococcus
Bacillus cereus
PSP (currently primary analyst)

5.43k to 7.93k seems more appropriate.

That's still flirting with 6 figures, which is outrageous for that kind of job. I was making about $25k back when I was a tech.

$543-793 per week seems about the typical salary for that sort of work. (It's a bit on the high side, but this sounds like a short term contract position).
 
Haha, better read the fine print though:

"Due to budgetary shortfalls, the person appointed to this position will be required to take unpaid furlough days between September 1, 2011 and June 30, 2013."
