Biohazard Case Mod

I wasn't happy with the clean looks of the "generic" biohazard cases available online, so I decided to take the concept to a new level. The case is what i like to call the "Phazadyne Systems® Portable Bio Containment Unit" An oversight in management left this unit unattended and in storage with a live culture inside. The unit has experienced a severe breach and the results are obvious. Here are some pics:

That's a great case that shows a lot of creativity!

What did you use for the "sculpted" exterior elements?

I started with a generic "Color Case" and using various parts from model kits, 99 cent stores and auto parts stores, I built on top of the case. The skull window is made from a life-sized human skull kit and a plastic clock face from a thrift store. The corroded texture is made with auto body filler and airbrushed to look rusted and crusty. The exhaust fan on top is a lighted green Antec case fan with biohazard grille. Inside are dual green cathode tubes for illumination. The power and reset buttons on the front are the safety recessed type. The other side of the case has the "Bio Containment Unit" window and switches for the various lights. The Bio Containment Unit has multiple strobe warning and indicator lights. I added a front bay door and behind it installed a Nexus Fan controller and Nexus CPU fan controller. The green contaminant was sculpted in clay and then cast in a polymer resin. Clear epoxy mixed with flourecent green paint was applied to give it a wet look. At the present time I am installing an AMD 3000+ Barton based system and plan on using this rig for gaming.

Actually when my girlfriend saw the completed mod she suggested she invite her girlfriend over and I could cover their naked bodies in flavored flourecent green body paint and they would lick it off eachother. :D
