I don't see anything wrong with this. This is exactly what the government should be doing, anticipating threats and working ahead of time to disrupt them

What's being proposed that takes our freedom away?

Imo, we could develop a better anthrax vaccine, we should have some smallpox vaccine stockpiled (I think that's already done), but other than that...
