Terrorists are likely to use a weapon of mass destruction somewhere in the world in the next five years, a blue-ribbon panel assembled by Congress has concluded.

Wow, these guys are geniuses. I hope that got paid a lot money for their insight.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a nuclear terror attack is likely by 2037. :p

In another shocking prediction, I say that everyone posting on this forum will be dead by the year 2105. Yes, I know something you don't ;)

Wait...that lady told me I bought immortality drink? It tasted like orange drink, but she promised eternal life went with that throat burning acidic taste. Was I deceived? :|

I don't see anything wrong with this. This is exactly what the government should be doing, anticipating threats and working ahead of time to disrupt them

And taking more freedom away from us to protect the freedom we still have. I predict by 2013 we will be communist nation under our dear leader, Jeb Bush.

What's being proposed that takes our freedom away?

Imo, we could develop a better anthrax vaccine, we should have some smallpox vaccine stockpiled (I think that's already done), but other than that...

Should or should not the government attempt to prevent largescale terror attacks by anticipation and disruption?
