Binned boards? Is that a thing?

I was wandering do they binn the boards th just like they bin cpu-s?

For example, is Aorus Master binned version of Aorus Ultra?
Or perhaps Aorus Ultra is failed version of Aorus Master?

No not that i am aware of.

It should be simular to the other Z390 Gaming series board if they are released.
But according to reviews its a replacement name for gigabyte Gaming 7, they released on the Z390.

It’s not uncommon for boards in a manufacturers lineup to use the same PCB layout. Depending on the products position in their lineup, some locations on the PCB won’t be populated with the controllers for features like 10G Ethernet that are present in higher end boards.
