Binding network connections?

I did this once in a class but have totally forgotten how. Basically I have one cable running to my room upstairs from the modem in the basement. This cable runs into my first computer to it's primary NIC. It then has a second NIC which I have connected to the other computer via a crossover cable.

I know I can bridge the connections in Network Connections but I don't want to use the gay MS cheat.

When I did it in class I remember doing it from a command prompt but all the commands are totally lost on me. If someone could remind me how this is done I would appreciate it as this could come in handy some day.

1. That kinda talk will earn you a vacation- trust me on this one. The Mods don't take kindly to bigotry.

2. Use the Windows "cheat"

That's not bigotry dude. In this case the word "gay" was being used synonymously with the word stupid. There was absolutely no connection to any sort of opinions about homosexuals. In fact, I think that perhaps you might be the bigot. What I said was so far off from a bigoted statement and yet you found bigotry in it. People use the word gay everday for things other than describing homosexuality. How do you know I wasn't saying, "the happy MS cheat." You know happiness was the original definition of gay don't you? Because homosexuals can be described as gay the word gay automatically means homosexual?

This might in fact be the stupidest thing I have ever had to explain to someone. Why did you not just read and move on. From where I'm standing you look like a f'in idiot. You thought you were being some sort of "defender of homosexual liberty" because I used the word gay as an adjective to describe Microsoft.

Well, you know what man. Carry on with your homosexual libertarian defense league BS and don't bother replying to my posts. Oh and let me apologize for you to any homosexuals you have offended by implying I would mention them in the same breath as Microsoft.

No, moron. That IS bigotry.

The word gay means happy. In contemporary English, it also refers to homosexuality. It is NOT a generalized negative term.

Do it again only if you want it to be your last post on our forums.
