Binding MX700 buttons in Counterstrike; has anyone gotten it to work?

if so, HOW!!!!!

I'm using the 9.75 drivers. I can "assign" the buttons in the config of CS, but they don't respond at all in game. Also tried re-assigning the buttons to a keyboard button using the software, then assigning that keyboard button to a function in CS. Still no go.

I'd really love to be able to reload and zoom in using my mouse buttons again. Especially since i'm finally used to using this bad boy.

Uninstall the Logitech drivers, and use the standard Windows drivers.

You will then get full use of your extra buttons and scroll wheel back in games.

They only work as press, not press-and-hold. I have Mouseware and can bind them fine in games. Search the Logitech site for info on making it more compatible with games, there is a support article about it.

I got em workin by uninstalling mouseware. So nice to have my reload and zoom buttons back!

So are there any advantages to using mouseware at all? what do you lose by using WinXP drivers? Thanks
