<< How do they know all of this? >>

I have no idea, but a "bunker buster" that uses conventional explosives won't destroy a hideout that complex.

System of ventilation ducts brings air into caves and provides alternative exits.

Hmmmm. I say we chuck some sarin into the ducts. See if that doesn't "smoke 'em out".

Drop some gas bombs down....that or repeatedly drop massive bombs over and over and over and over again till it collapses....rock or not you can't withstand continuous bombardment. Bin Laden will never be taken alive no matter how much we want it.

I doubt he's in one of these... the massive construction that would have had to have taken place for such a place would have left behind quite a trail.

You don't think so?

You ever been in a cavern and shouted? You see how that reflected and echoes? Explosions do the same thing. Seemigly minor pressure disturbances can distrupt caves, so imagine what a 3000 lb bomb 20 feet into rock can do.

Um, this is actually real. And the information is kinda public because he's used it as propaganda, showing pictures of his fortress in newspaper to recruit people by showing how organize they really are.

<< A defiant radio message to Taleban troops quoted Mullah Omar as ordering them to stand and fight. ?Don?t vacate any areas,? the statement said. >>

Sounds like Custer telling his troops to "take no prisoners!"

What the hell? I expect to see a video of bin Laden any day now going "Welcome to my secret lair" With his pinky to his lip. Then if he catches any Americans, "Begin the unnecessarily slow-moving dipping mechanism!"
