I found this post on another newsgroup yesterday. I cannot confirm nor deny this information. Again, these are not my words:

Sources in Lebenon say that rumour is Bin-Laden has staged this first strike as an effort to create chaos and shut down air transport. Another strike will come in the early AM with 30 planned attacks over the next 10 weeks.

I'm hoping this is just a stupid rumor.
 
No this is a credible source because earlier on the news some WH representative said the same thing....
"we believe the danger is not yet over"
 
Feed some pork to that bastard and torture him to death.

He doesn't deserve to live, whether he planned subsequent attacks or not.

And by the looks today, the FBI has been very active and will continue to be very active in preventing further attacks, so even if this is true, I surely hope that there aren't more terrorist attacks of any magnitude upon the US.
 
actually, there have been alot of rumors that this is only the beginning, including the rumors that were going around before anything happened. I, for one, expect to see more happening, hence the extra security being taken
 
I fear the next attacks will be in Europe (I'm in Europe right now).
In the US security was really clamped down but over here ....
In two weeks (I think) the Octoberfest in Germany will start. They have millions of visitor there I hope officials there are on alert and will be able to prevent something happening.
I also fear that smaller (insane) terrorist groups will be inspired by this and will strike within the next weeks.
I believe there were (empty) bomb-threads all over Europe...
 
I wonder if this is the reasoning behind further delaying the start of Commercial air travel in the country.
 
Think how easy it is for people to say these things and spread rumors (could be part of the terrorists' plans perhaps). I mean it's possible that they will continue of course, but I don't know, the FBI (and whoever else) is probably as prepared as they could be so there's really nothing much we could do.
 
well, with the US on the highest military alert, i think we have a very good chance of thwarting any further attacks. there's an aircraft carrier off ny's coast, and i feel pretty safe right now. (live in nyc).
