The Afghan clerics asked Osama to leave voluntarily. Hyeah right. It's encouraging that they have not yet told him to stay, but they're not exactly going to hand him over. Then again, the Taliban leader will probably just overrule the council and let him stay.

We want him! Not only him, but it's a good start if the Talibans hand him over. The Talibans now enjoy great power in Afghanistan, they don't want to run to the hills, but if a war start..anything can happen. Another group with support from the US could easily take over Afghanistan.

ANd after 10 years or so that group will turn against US and it will start all over again.

It's confirmed, just heard it on the public radio, and that's as reliable of a source as it gets.

I wonder what bin laden will do now.

OBL is Castro's worst nightmare. That would be the end of his reign. The U.S. would not hesitate to go to Cuba in force to take delivery of OBL. No, Cuba cannot afford the liability. I don't know where he can go now.:disgust:
