Considering it's unlikely any of his ads were shown in my country, I disagree. Especially considering I don't watch TV. But my question remains, why would you know the name of some dude on a commercial, and why would you care?

Alright, that makes more sense. Suffice to say over here in the US he's basically on every infomercial in existence and had his own TV series on the Discovery Channel.
