4PM? How many CT forum members are even on here? :p
I was actually confused by what time it was going to start...3p, 4p or 5p.....so I picked the middle.
I didn't consider time zones either just assumed it was a eastern time zone start and people could adjust from there.

Wonder if troy and joe get paid per game they announce or is it just a annual salary type thing? #firstworldproblems

Bills still suck...

They put up a pretty good fight against one of, if not the best team in football. A bit more experience they'll be winning these kind of games. Allen is one heck of an athlete.

Also they could have used 80,000 screaming Bill's fans backing them up today... might have made the difference.

Josh Allen will never be a elite QB with that loose cannon accuracy. He's has legs but a bad arm.

Time (unlike you or I) will tell ... both he and his team have a LONG way to go before anyone should even be mentioning the word "elite" in reference to them. The only one of the younger generation QB's to rate that title at the moment is Mahomes and even he's borderline with one SB title.

From what I've seen watching Allen so far it's his judgement (and lack of good receivers) that's to blame not his accuracy. Plus he has one of the strongest arms I've seen in the NFL in quite awhile.

His passing percentage is hovering around an admittedly terrible 52% but QB rating is 85%. It would help those numbers a lot if his guys could hang onto the football once in awhile!

All I know is I sure wish HE was the Giants starting QB instead of Jones!

I don't know where you're getting your numbers from, but they're way off. He was 52%...in yesterday's game. Despite that poor performance, he's still at 67% on the season, and a QB rating of 108.

My bad meant for yesterday's game ... 52% on the season would be grounds for an immediate benching! (unless MAYBE in a rookie-year)

Here's the link:

ESPN article

Not saying your doing this but all the Bills/Allen nay-sayers need to keep in mind the Bills last two opponents (Titans and the Chiefs) are unquestionably two of the strongest teams in the NFL and could beat anyone.

Funny coincidence about that number... At half time, Terry Bradshaw was really trash talking Allen's accuracy. Bradshaw's career completion percentage? 51.9%

Yes.....it was also raining so that makes it harder to pass. As a Raider's fan I always want the Chiefs to lose.

This was before the Walsh influence spread throughout the league and made the short passing game an ubiquitous necessity.

Offenses had a different view of the pass then, and emphasized taking risking bomb plays.

Allen had moments of bad accuracy. Overthrowing his receivers happened in this game, and on plays a better placed ball could have helped his team.

His claim to fame was throwing 80 yards at the combine while making it look effortless....10 yrd line to 10 yrd line.

Most QB's throwing that far let out a tennis shot style grunt.

His arm is strong, but still bad because he oftentimes loses his aim and outthrows his own receivers. It's great having a cannon. It's a moot point of having one if the player misses the receiver anyway.

I wasn't arguing that point that his accuracy is bad. I've honestly not seen him in more than a couple of games, but have seen a lot of highlights with him running. I was just stating that he was drafted on the hope that a QB coach can help work on all of his aspects as a professional QB. Buffalo's record this season and last are nothing to sneeze at. If he gets a decent QB coach and does some moving target practice/studies tape, he may improve.
