Called "The Eyes of Nye", it's only on in a few cities. Man, I wish I could see it. I used to love Bill Nye's show.

Were these episodes ever released on dvd?

I think they were released on DVD, but only with licenses to play them in front of an audience (classroom), so they were something like $1000 for the whole set.

I found this, it's the entire old tv show (all 100 episodes on DVD), for the low low price of $3249.00

It's in seattle... I recorded all 13 episodes... they're about 1.1 gigs/20 minutes each in mpg format.

.... and it looks like a popular to - rrent site run by those swiss pirates has it.... :Q

Hmm...I was just looking through some TV listings for the digital/HD broadcasts here in San Antonio, and there were two episodes listed...one on KLRN-HD (digital channel 9.2) this morning at 8am, and one next Sunday at 1pm on KLRN-DT (9.1). So you might be able to watch it after all (even though San Antonio isn't in the list of cities on that website). ;)

Also, the one next Sunday is listed under the regular analog channel too, so you might not necessarily need an HDTV/HDTV tuner.

I loved the squeaking sound they used to play when the old world chameleon would move its eyes. It would crack me up all day long.

I don't understand why they didn't just keep the name "Bill Nye the Science Guy".
