A video crew from The Uptake caught this confrontation at the National Conference for Media Reform 2008 between Bill Moyers and O?Reilly producer Porter Berry.

Porter Berry gets his ass handed to him by Bill Moyers.

Watch until the end as the reporters from The Uptake give Berry a taste of his own medicine....

It's refreshing to see the sleazy "journalism" tactics of Fox get a swift kick in the nards....

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, as I watch him tell Moyers he doesn't have the courage to go have O'Reilly yell nonsense at him. Bill Moyers was handling the press before that guy was born.

ok, ok, i' finally got the giggles to go away. on top of that, i couldn't watch the whole slaughter in it's entirety 'cuz i was so embarassed for the poor shmuck.

a classic case of the hunter becoming the hunted. better yet, the asswipe was used just as advertized.

why stuff like this doesn't get the attention it deserves i'll never know.

good one bill.

Being an ass to people on TV only works for people like those who work on the O'Reilly factor if they can shout down the other side and/or cut their mike. I mean come on, that show hardly ever rises to level of real debate...why do you think Bill has to talk so loudly?

Anyone want to make a bet as to whether Keith Olbermann will end up replaying some of this footage on his show?

I liked the line about reporters and producers being the real journalists, not the blowhard anchors. :D

To which the young thug kept interjecting, "like you?" to Moyers, after each word like blowhard - trying the bullying BS the O'Reilly garbage is infamous for.

I noticed, too, the hand Moyers put on his shoulder during most of the encounter - that's a subtly dominating bit of body language, if you have it done with someone in an argument.

I skimmed thru that, didn't see anything anything worth writing home about. Did I miss something? I seen some guy that works for oreilly trying to get some old guy to appear on orielly's show. old guy wanted the oreilly guy or oreilly himself to come on his show. Oreilly guy walk out with some people following him out. What'd I miss so far?

The point is that the left has some strange obsession with O'reilly, some of them have even made a career off of obsessing over O'reilly's every move.

It was an exageration to poke fun at his low ratings and hate-filled audience.

I don't know if it's true everywhere, but Olbermann's show comes on TV at the same time that the Daily Show and Colbert are on. :D

McDonalalds' cheeseburgers outsell filet mignon.
