Bill Gates wants a better condom

I do have a better design, but need a willing female accomplice to vigorously test the product. This is not a joke. You'll get paid after successful testing and product sale. Safety not guaranteed. I have done this before. :hmm:

safety not guaranteed was a horrible stupid movie.

something tells me this is going to result in something that goes up your peehole...

there is that Japanese scientist that claims he can do male birth control. basically its a quicker easier vasectomy and can be reversed at any time after any duration.

why not just lobby to have that covered by welfare?

by welfare if you mean it should be paid for by the govt for everyone, then I say yes

That idea addresses pregnancy prevention, for this country. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that probably wouldn't do much for HIV infection rates in Africa and Asia.

I say we first get everyone on the same page with normal condoms first. I'm looking at you catholic church.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks Bill and Melinda are low balling innovation here. With his money, shit, that's almost a joke.

My gf refuses to go on birth control so condoms it is but if there was something for guys i would be interested.

What happened to Bill Gates? He used to be on the forefront of technology, now he's taking on these stupid projects. He should fund a really cool tech project in robotics or something.

yeah I suppose. but condoms don't stop std's either. at some point you figure people in Africa will start brushing their teeth and washing their asses, which is when you start getting kinky in bed.

False. Used correctly, they can prevent the transmission of several. I have no idea wtf you are trying to say regarding the rest.

Do you work for the Vatican by any chance?

I think they basically stop all of them.. except genital warts, crabs, and herpes. All are curable except herpes but that has a very low transmission rate with a condom

Europeans have been working on that for some time. I believe in France there was a male Depo like shot, but it caused a really painful reaction I remember reading. I think the Germans were aiming for a pill for men, and another version was a nose spray. Tricked the brain into producing a chemical message to the testes that basically said "Stop production fellas, I'm locked and loaded with enough ammo for all of Spring Break."

I haven't heard of those in years, so I assume they fizzled out or were proven too costly or ineffective.

The point of birth control is to give women control. It should be obvious from this why the government has no interest in funding BC for men.
