Haha, that's great. There's a HUGE rock here in Ann Arbor that gets the same treatment as your fences at CMU. I bet if someone used about 1000 gallons of paint thinner, the rock would have a 6-inch smaller radius.

BTW, those pics were taken with a Canon S50 in panoramic mode and stitched together -- Our fence is rather large.

And Wean Hall is where our School of Computer Science is.

This is my first time doing stitching from my camera. That, and this fence is painted every day.

there used to be rocks and stuff like that on a campus i visited, well, not the BSOD type, but the paint anything you want, they were there for that purpose

Ya..the fence has painted about a 100 times since the start of school...although no souls decided to brave the cold weather to paint the fence during July. You have to guard the fence for at least a day (overnight, outdooors).

heh, yeah, your little fence thing is cool...I saw it when we took my system to colleges over the summer. Like jumpr's already said, our rock is used in much the same way, although you probably can't get quite as much writing on it and on north campus...I don't know what you'd paint!
