That's dumb, he should have had $100 bills in his wallet, cause everyone knows coke machines don't take 100's. He should have gone down the hall asking if anyone had change for a 100. Or if they didn't want to make him look to pompus, they would have put him in a room filled with cokes, because it couldn't give him change.

Not quite so dumb.

  1. Bill is pushing for a paperless society. So he more than likely carries an American Express Black Card or some other type of electronic payment.
  2. You are not penniless and neither is Bill; but I am sure that just like you, Mr. Gates has had a moment where did not bring any cash or change with him.
  3. Coca-Cola Machines don't take Benjamins yet...

When a Coke gets so expensive the machines can accept a $100 I think Bill Gates might be the only person left drinking them... But I still like it when company owners/execs show some guts and do commercials themselves. If you want to see a really ballsy commercial you should check this one out: Youtube - its for a Boston car dealership but man its creative. You can't expect to see what he does.

Why do people assume that if someone is rich they'll always have cash on them, let alone large amounts of it?

Microsoft offers free soda in their office buildings.

There are fridges in every corridor of the floor.

Yes, the type of fridges that holds drink only, with sliding glass doors.

Free drinks aint nothing to a company that has billions and billions of cash reserve.
