I've already decided to never purchase Universal DVDs after Bruce Almighty had about 5 previews before the menu came up, and no button would let me skip them. It's really stupid because what if you own the movie, who the hell wants to go through all of that just to start it up. The whole point of a DVD is quick and easy access

I love dvd shrink 'cause I can eliminate all that crap when I back up the dvd's I own.


Why would they care if I decide to eliminate the ads, the fbi warnings or deleted scenes anymore than I migh desire to set it aflame with cooking oil? It's mine, I paid for it.

Fortunately, I am pretty sure that the DVD player manufacturers will allow people to continue fast forwarding through that crap.

Check again, most of the Movies within the last year you cannot fast forward past the Preview/Trailer section.

Which is also breaking the Law. The Law states you are obligated to watch all of the Ad material as part of your contract to watching the main feature.
