totally missed this when I watched MtP this weekend, but apparently Bill is bitter...

MSNBC?s political director Chuck Todd on Bill Clinton?s ?bitterness? over Barack Obama: ?I?m told that Bill Clinton is not over this yet. Hillary Clinton is over this, to a point. Bill Clinton believes that he was turned into a racist and believes the Obama campaign did it to him, [he] believes that the Obama campaign has tarnished his legacy in the ?90s. That ?turn the page? stuff is a way of saying the ?90s were a failure, not a success. The bitterness in Clinton world is in that Harlem office where President Clinton resides.?

I wonder if Obama is going to try and make amends or cut the cord and move on... if it were me, I'd be hoping that Bill doesn't start clinging to his guns as a way to explain his frustration :p

I can understand some bitterness at being falsely accused of being a racist, and of having his legacy dismissed.

Really, though, he's in need of the media to caress his wounded pride. He's usually a winner, and this time he took second place. He dared to tap dance around racial lines in some of the comments he made, and that's come back to haunt him as well. Lastly, he's thinking too much of himself when it comes to "turning the page" - America does need to turn over a new leaf, but that has more to do with the old way of thinking ("We must never talk to Cuba, Iran or North Korea as our equals as sovereign nations! Status quo!") than a historical wipe.

In short, Mr. Clinton, get over yourself.

Agree on all counts and I liked Bill Clinton before his panties got all in a bunch. The future of the (D) party and more importantly the country are at stake. It's time to focus on that rather than your legacy, Bill.
