Here is one with CO2 in the Title that Dr Pizza said he could not find.

DrPizza asked you to find an article at slashdot with the following title "Washington Republican wants to ban bicycling because releases too much CO2." He said nothing about not being able to find articles with CO2 in the title. You failed. Not a single article you've mentioned says that he wants to ban bicycling.
Not. A. Single. One. We'll let you know how long your vacation is.

Bikes cause global warming because you exhale CO2, GOPer says

The infamous Republican war on science continues. Washington state representative Ed Orcutt (a Republican) wants to tax people who ride bikes because of the wear and tear bicycles generate on roads and, incredibly, because of the greenhouse gases cyclists produce when they exhale.

Even crazier is that Orcutt is the top Republican on the state Transportation Committee in the Washington state House. He’s their science guy.

We really needed to rehash the whole thing?

Dr Pizza said he had to "Double down", ask him.

I'm just doing what he said I had to do.

I'll remind you that if you have a problem with the moderation here you're supposed to make a thread in Moderator Discussions, not air your grievances (which in this case are ridiculous) publicly. Rather than infract or vacation you for that, let's double down. You provide a link to the article on slashdot, that shows your original thread title ("Washington Republican wants to ban bicycling because releases too much CO2") You can use a cached link on Google, or whatever, and I'll publicly apologize and remove the infraction.

You *don't* provide the link to prove what you've been saying for over a day now, and we vacation you from the forums for lying and publicly attacking the moderation.

More than just this Washington Republican Lawmaker going over the top on this

http://www.king5.com/news/politics/Ed-Orcutt-bicyclists-pollute-response-194943831.html

WA lawmaker admits 'bicyclists pollute' line was 'over the top'

A Washington state lawmaker admitted Monday that “it was over the top” when he wrote in an email that bicyclists pollute the air when they ride. Rep. Ed Orcutt, R-Kalama, wrote the email to Tacoma bike shop owner Dale Carlson, who voiced concern about a proposed $25 fee on bicycle purchases of over $500.

Orcutt responded Monday to the controversy.

“It was over the top and I admit is not one which should enter into the conversation regarding bicycles,” wrote Orcutt. “Although I have always recognized that bicycling emits less carbon than cars, I see I did a poor job of indicating that within my e-mail. My point was that by not driving a car, a cyclist was not necessarily having a zero-carbon footprint. In looking back, it was not a point worthy of even mentioning so, again, I apologize – both for bringing it up and for the wording of the e-mail.”

The $25 bike fee in question was announced by House Democrats two weeks ago as part of an overall package that would raise a reported $9.8 billion over the next decade. Orcutt said Monday he doesn’t support much of what he sees in the Democrat plan, but does find merit in the $25 fee.
