It's biker weekend in Wildwood!! Yea... NOT! I hate it when they come down because their rude, obnoxious and their Harley's are loud as hell. Next weekend the firemen come down and they cause problems as well.

Why couldn't we have geek weekend! :(

bah,
i dont really like harleys or people riding em (or the whole athmosphere, s&m outfits and fat chicks on the back). Plus half of those fvckers dont nod/wave/flash peace to sportbikers. I have yet to see a kid on a sportbike that wont peace me out when im rolling by

EDIT:
most vtwins with straight pipes sound like sh!t imo... Peope put mufflers on bikes for a reason - you want a nice tone, not some gargling noise that defens people from 50 yards

Ugh, that sucks. Last time I was in Daytona Beach for spring break, it coincided with bike week. Woken up at 6am one morning (with a righteous hangover) by some half man, half ape fellow who decided to bring his unmuffled Harley right in front of his hotel room, which was right next to mine, and let it warm up there - for an hour :|

Yep. We don't get the hotrodders though.

After Labor day its:

Biker Weekend (Sept 10-12)
Firemen Weekend (Sept 17-19)
Irist Festival, Boat Racing and Car show (Sept 24-26)
Motorcross Weekend (Oct 1-3)

The Irish Festival alone draws over 300,000+ people.

You know nothing of bike "week" until you have spent one in Sturgis, SD. Nonstop bikes for a month.

One of the good things about Detroit...rather limited bike scene. A few Harleys here and there, but with it being Cartown USA and the weather being bike-unfriendly for half of the year...it's seldomly a problem.

Just be glad its one weekend. Where I live, every weekend spring-fall is bike weekend. We increase the size of our 15,000 person town by 50% with bikers of all sorts. They just come out so they can ride out in "the country." Bastages.

Could be worse, your town could be taken over by axe murdering psychopaths.

"Taken over" implies military aggression by a hostile power. Couldn't you think of a nicer way to say it?

Oh wait, people only freak out when something like that is said about non-Christian religious groups. :p

Carry on.
