Bike Guys: I bought a Kryptonite New York STD U-Lock

I need the U-Lock serial number to register for the $3000 insurance policy. I took my bike in to Richardson Bike Mart to have it appraised, so the only bit of information I need is the serial number.

I know this seems like a simple thing to find, but there is no indication about the serial! Just a few sets of numbers.

Anyone know where Kryptonite prints the serial number on the lock or box?

i'm not a big bike guru - but when i registered my bike and lock - i got the key number. Not sure if that helps you out. Gluck - you can try pm'ing brutuskend

As for the key number, I have that for the Key Replacement Program. I just need the S/N for the U-Lock itself. If they would just print "S/N: XXXXXXXXXXX", it would make filling this damn form out ridiculously easy. But then again, they don't want everyone to take advantage of this insurance program.

I will be calling Kryptonite tomorrow and asking them where the damn S/N is printed.
