Not surprising to see plenty of car forums on there (VWVortex, NASIOC, Club RSX, Honda tech..)

AT used to be top 25 I believe.

I'm fine with the size though. When boards get too big you can't seem to get a word in edgwise. You reply to something and by the time it's up the original post you were replying to is 2-3 pages back.

I'll put in the "this site probably doesn't count archived posts" and "some of those boards don't prune old accounts" arguments that make these "biggest forum" sites a little inaccurate.

Still it's a good gauge :)

lol, 4chan @ #2 is both surprising and unsurprising at the same time. Even more lulzworthy:

4chan, 666832648 posts made by 66642 users. And I thought ATOT users had no life. (That's the highest delta posts per user on the list's top 100, by FAR)

I ventured into Gaia at one point in my travels on the internet. The entire experience consisted of 'WTF???'.

66k seems much too low, I seem to remember hearing it receives between 1-2m unique hits per month. That could be completely wrong, but so is 66k at any rate :p

Offtopic dot com is a pay to post board unlike "something awful" which is free, and a pretty decent place.

Number seems low, but remember you don't have to register to post there unlike nearly everywhere else. :p

I'm pretty sure Gaia is half forum half RPG or something so I'm betting there's a number of people with a number of accounts for purposes of 'farming' or whatever. Plus people love to troll there, so they add up.

I can't see the list either but were does World of Warcraft rank? I would think that would be pretty high.
