To repeat the question...what is the biggest heatsink fitable [is that a real word?] on a ECS D6VAA? What I mean by fitable [?] is a heatsink/fan combo that won't kill any capasitors. I've read about the tight space on a D6VAA, but wasn't sure what fits and what doesn't. I'm thinking an Alpha PAL6035/Delta combo is good enough to bump a pair of Pentium III 800EB to a GHz. (Don't need to worry about noise, it'll be in the basement.

I had trouble even getting the intel retail hs/f on my dual gig chips with the limited space available on the ecs d6vaa...

At 2cpu.com, they got a pair of GlobWin FOP32-1s to fit. I believe you'd be ok if you had small hands. (Which I do)

if you want fittable performance HS, try these out. Link

these come out $24.98 shipped. w/ the delta these things perform at the very top level and they are very small. its a copper hs and its barely larger than the 60mm delta that sits on top of it. if this hs won't fit on your mb, nothing will.

hope this works for you.
