Big XP Problem

I just switched to xp. YAY!. I love it. Just, where is the dos prompt!. I wanted to run ipconfig
so I go to run instead and it works but the prompt just comes up then disappears. WTH! Lol is it afraid of me?

Well, there is no 'DOS' prompt, but there is a command prompt that emulates DOS.

Start, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt

or just Start, Run, and type in CMD
