BIG weekend! :) What are your plans?

Man, I can't wait for 5:00! Then it's straight home to shower & change, then go see Signs at 6:45. Then dinner at this little Thai place, then the Satchmo Fest (new, small Jazz Festival here) club crawl. $20 for free admission & drinks at all the clubs on Frenchman St (just outside the French Quarter) from 7pm to 2am!

Then, tomorrow, my roomates and I are going to pick up the pool table we bought, set it up, and play pool all day. Then, around 6pm, I gotta change and jump in a limo to go to White Linen Night. White Linen is an event put on by the New Orleans Community Arts Center. They close off the streets in the Arts District, and all the galleries are open. There are bands on the streets, bars, and tons of food and everyone wears white linen clothes (got my white linen suit ready).

Finally, Sunday, my friends and I are going to wrap it all up with a champagne brunch at either Court of Two Sisters or the Upperline.

Boy am I going to miss New Orleans when I move to NYC in October.

Just 3 and half more hours...

Anyone else have a big weekend planned?

Hopefully I will be recording songs with my friends. We started a rap group this week. I am the producer and they are the rappers. It's extremely low budget(READ: my computer and we are going to borrow a decent mic) but it's going to be fun, and basicly a big joke as the name we are tossing around is MCWB's (middle class white boys)

My weekend started yesterday, god I love the 10 hour days...., but all I am doing is working around the house and waiting till my wife goes into labor, we had a dry run yesterday.

I have finished a bike for a guy and am delivering it to the east side of Ohio. I am taking my 4 year old daughter with me because she cried when I told her daddy was going alone. (I had planned on just driving straight thru and back)

So, Holidome, swimming, zoo in Indy and whatever else she can think of to do in 2 days time.

Daddy's highlight will be driving thru Indy with the Brickyard 400 traffic.:Q All those fat@ss nascar wannabe's in their Monte Carlo's with "In Memory of 3" stickers all over them will be pretending I-70 is, well, you get the picture.

I'll be test driving some more cars this weekend. Have to take a Acura TL Type-S and a Infinity G35 out for a spin so I can wrap up my car search and get into some new wheels. I will NOT be cutting the grass this weekend. Probably have to pull some weeds from the flower beds. I have some tomaters and hot peppers to pick, maybe even a watermelon. I'll spend some time watering unless we get some rain tonight. Owning a house can be quite a chore, but it is well worth it. That is the thrill ride that my weekend will be.

Working 6 hours tonight, 5 tomorrow, and 6 Sunday. Supposedly, I have to get up early at least tomorrow and maybe Sunday and do yard work before going to work. Basically, a whole weekend of nothing fun or enjoyable at all.

God I love the Con -- this is the first time in YEARS that I've missed the first two days.

Picking up a rental car Saturday. Driving to Birmingham. Visiting with family and friends. Monday wake up and go look at houses to rent in Hoover with my cousin. Repeat Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Hopefully find one we like and maybe sign a lease. Wednesday before noon head back towards Atlanta. Drop off rental car and have my roomate pick me up. Not sure what else yet.

Tonight we are probably going to have a few people over. Don't really know yet.
