Big unstability with asus a7v333 and kingston ddr333

I just put together a system with these two for someone, and that person says that his games keep crashing saying "Fatal Error Memory Drop". I heard about this incompatibility from the at kt-333 roundup. is there a way around this without getting new memory? Thanks.

Try dropping the RAM to PC2100 speed (1:1 ratio). It is not likely to make any real-world performance differences that you could detect without benchmarking. I did some tests with my A7V333 and it renders and animates just as fast at PC2100 speeds as it does at PC2700 speeds.
