Can I do better than the stock fan?
Temps @ idle are 42c...ambient is 28c...system temp is 34c.
Using TX-2 as a TIM.
Thanks.

You could, but I think I read that you get diminishing returns around 110 CFM or something like that.

I've got one of those...i'd just need longer screws to install it.
Any idea what size they are?

Well what I did was to use the stocks bolts from the Big Typhoon but put double nuts on them then cut it with side cutters, unscrew the nuts to straighten out the threads then screwed them in from the holes closest to the HS. Follow me?

Hell I didn't get it either... one of those "had to be there" things?

The bolts that go through the 120x25 mm fan are too short to go through the 120x38mm fan. If you take the nuts and thread them up the bolts you can then cut off the excess length
with a pair of side cutters. The new length is only about 1-1.5 inches. Then you thread them in the fan holes that are closest to the HS fins.Hard to describe but it does work.
