Hi..I have a SI 120 and I swapped out a couple of cpus and all of sudden my temps are relatively higher....I have opteron 170 0546 xpmw that ran @2700 with 1.5v...max load temps with large fft after 15hrs was 49c
now within several minutes temps in my exact same setup rapidly move in to the 53-55C range
I have changed no fans at all except I added cooling over my PMWIC
I removed the SI120 a total of 4-5 times..it seems to make the same tight fit as before...I am not sure if it went bad or making poor contact for some odd reason
Fans: 2x 120mm CM rear fan exhaust and top as intake, 120mm YL intake fan in front, 120mm YL pointed at chipset, 2 small 40mm fans over PMWIC(lowered load temps 12C), SI 120 has a Nexus fan...all the same as 2 days ago
Just not sure why the temps seem more uncontrolled under load..I could except 1-2C underload given it is warmer in FL now but it seems the temps just keep going up, more than I saw before
So if I were to get a BT would have a wgt issue with cpu socket at the top, in P180 on DFI SLI DR
and would it fit this case ?
Thanks
