Just wanted to give a big thanks to RossMAN for his help in setting up a forum on my website. Took no time at all, and was very patient in receiving my info!

It works flawlessly, and he gave some good tips so I don't screw it up playing around with it. (I think he just doesn't want to have to fix it in a couple of days) 😉

Just wanted to say the InvisionBoard forum software RossMAN installed for me is great. Now I have an idea of the wealth of options the mods here have at their fingertips, maybe even more. Excellent stuff!

1) If you don't already have a domain buy one through NameCheap.com for $8.88/yr
2) Sign up for webhosting either through RippleHost.com for $5/yr or AddAction.net for $9.95/6 months
3) Forward your webhosting account details to me at rossman@gottadeal.com and include your MSN or AIM username.
4) I setup your forums for FREE.

I do offer this as a paid service but I haven't figured out the best price to charge yet.

For fellow AT'ers I'm willing to do a basic installation for free.
 
I signed up with addaction early this morning. Got my domain name from godaddy.com for 69.50 for 10 years.

First off... another congrats to the Rossman... by far one of the MOST helpful members of AT.

Now, what forums do you want to set up?? If it's invisionboard, I'll do it for you... PHPbb is a bit more time consuming.
 
KK - I think you're going to love AddAction.net by far one of my favorite webhosts.

bGIveNs33 - I've only installed InvisionBoard so far which is easy after doing it the first time (took me HOURS!!!). I haven't tried installing phpBB yet but InvisionBoard is superior to phpBB. I have already made arrangements with dquan97 to install InvisionBoard for him.

acidvoodoo - After the first installation it gets a lot easier. It's easiest if you have a good FTP client (FlashFXP is what I use) and cPanel. The most difficult part for me is setting up the MySQL database but I'm getting more and more comfortable with it.
 
Yea, Invisionboard is soooo much nicer than phpBB. I thought Invisionboard was a breeze.... but then again, it took me 3 days to do phpBB. Invisionboard if everything is already FTPed into place will take around 10 minutes to install. Good luck!
