Big Rear View Mirror

My brother has a rear view mirror that seemingly dwarfs my stock mirror. His is not all that much bigger I suppose, but for some reason I can see so much more in his, plus the view is not the standard you expect.

Anyone know where I can get one of these? I've been searching online and the cheapest one I found was 10 bucks. 12" x 2.5". Also, it has an option to be "blue glass". WTF does that mean? Who would get that?

Remember its no use getting a huge rear view mirror as you'll only be able to see as much as the rear window allows.. With my mirror i can't see much more than the size of the window, and i haven't seen it any different on other cars.

As for the blue glass, i can only guess its a tint to reduce headlight glare with night driving.

Hmm. Good point. My Prelude doesn't have that big of a window in the back. Maybe I'll use his to sample.

I knew someone that had one of these. Never drove his car, so I don't know how effective it was.
