Big problems with wifi router

Hey guys,

I'm pretty good with computer stuff but this even boggles my mind..

I picked up my linksys wireless wrt54gc wifi router yesterday, plugged it in.

I can browse the net while wired, but not while on wireless. I updated the firmware, same problem.

Reset the modem, now I can't even connect.

I'm also running into issues that the router freezes when trying to setup port forwarding.

The freezing-while-setting-up-port-forwarding thing makes me think the hardware's defective. I'd try to return/RMA it if I were you. Maybe call Linksys tech support to be sure.
 
Contact Customer support for this kinda fault I have never had much luck with Linksys routers always stuff like this. They will send you through a bunch of old and new firmware patches and one will suddenly work they nor you will know why! it just seems to be that way with their stuff.
