About a year ago I built 2 systems using a Gigabyte K8NS Ultra 939 with an Athalon 64 3500+. Radeon 9800pro, Rosewilll case(neweggs brand).
About a month ago the system made a pop, shut down and upon booting I would get no video. The monitor light would just be amber, if I turned the monitor off and on the light on the monitor would go green then I would get a no signal message on the monitor.
So not being sure what popped I decide to RMA everything, the motherboard, CPU and Radeon.
Of course NewEgg no longer has the Gigabyte K8NS Ultra so I go for the ASRock Dual 939 board.
I get that home and same exact symptoms. No monitor. I know the video card is good because I can plug it into another system and it works. I have not checked the CPU though it was a new replacement in the box from AMD.
Is it possible the power supply went and that could be causing this issue, since that is the only thing that has remainded constant over the RMA's?
