Ok... Gigabyte doesn't like to send screws with their motherboards, at least5 not for me. So I went to Sears and got some plain machine head screws, then put it right into my also steel case... Nothing has shorted yet, but I had no idea about this until a bit ago... Will the screws screw up my motherboard?

AFAIK NO motherboard manufacturer includes case mounting screws. The CASE Manufacturer should include screws for mounting into their case standoffs. I presume since it worked, it will probably be okay. Should not screw up your motherboard. Did you check your case mounting hardware packet? The proper screws may be in there.

The CM 690 comes with no extra screws. all of them are screwed into the case and can be taken out and used as necessary... The ones they included weren't long enough though.
