Big Problem , Please help

Hi

My Problem is that I Just bought a new motherboard......

Well i read the manual and found that it only supports certain graphics cards
It says to make sure that your graphics card is 1.5v spec (as using a 3.3v card may damage your motherboard)
Well my card is a .. ASUS Geforce 4TI 4600 , and I'm not at all sure if I can safely use my card with my new board, as i cant find anywhere what voltage it is

Could someone please tell me if my card is compatible with this board and what voltage it is

(as u can probably tell , im pretty new to all this)

I cant remember exactly but it seems like 3.3 was for agp pro. I could be wrong though.

No, the voltage only deals with the speed that the bus can operate. Its harder to push AGP 66*8 (AGP 8x) at 3.3v because of the amount of "line noise" that is generated. This is why, in the AGP 3.0 (8x) spec, the voltage was dropped to 1.5v. CPUs are the same way. Old Pentium CPU's used, I believe, 5v. Now, A64 CPU's use only 1.4v (at least my 90nm CPU does), and Presotts use, I believe, 1.4v as well. This makes it easier to crank up the clock speeds.
