So heres my story:
My father unhooked my water pump for some reason so when I get home and turn on my comp it overheats and freezes. I was like wtf this never happens so I just restarted the comp. Of course I didn't know that he had unplugged the water pump for my system so I let it start up again and the registry checker comes up and it begins to restore my registry. Then it froze. At this point I was truly confused. Then I look down and I see the plug for my pump lying on the floor. I immediately plugged it in but it was too late. Now when I start my computer and login i am immediately greeted by a general fault protection. I have tried replaing the two files at fault and restring the registry from previous backups with no luck. Anyone know any thing I can do or do I need to reinstall Windows?

Thanks to all,
