Went to the DMV today. As I went out to lunkch while I was waiting for my turn to come up i encountered this.

boss hoss

It was BIG. The key was still in the ignition and I pointed it out to the owner who said "People don't know how to ride it so I don't bother." It was a BIG bike. He said it was 375 HP. I would hate to drop one of those babies.

That pic doesn't do its bigness justice. The gas tank on those things is about two and a half feet wide.

It's like a bike with a 350 shoved in it, very possible.

Hey Greyd, I trademarked that breat mispelling. So hah!

I was leaving work last week when I heard a REALLY nasty sounding bike. WAY different sound than any Harley. I turn to see a Boss Hoss 502 Big Block sitting at the light next to me. Thing was UNREAL. 500 horse power strapped between your legs?! The rear tire on this bike looked like it belonged on a semi it was so wide.

I saw these at the international motorcycle expo a few years ago. Despite their massive size and weight, they say that they are suprisingly easy to handle. No gear box... just an electric torque converter. Hit the throttle and go like hades! 🙂 I wonder how it would compare to my GSXR1000... 🙂

I saw a guy riding one of those last month when I was hangiong round the Lake/Park in Wakefield MA. Damn that thing was impressive. Of course when he parked it he drew a crowd

There's a group of them that rides here in Mpls. Sometimes I'll see ten or twenty heading to Stillwater (there's a popular biker bar down there) or down at the Joint (another biker hangout). A dozen of those things rolling by makes a deafening sound.
