We're holding fraternity retreat next week, and I need some big meals on the cheap. Can you guys think about anything besides spaghetti and costco pizza?

Current menu for a Fri-Sun trip...

costco pizza, cereal, milk, oj, rice, sausage, maybe spaghetti, and carne asada tacos, and 2 kegs HAHAHA

DIY sandwiches? sliced bread, turkey, cheese, condiments, lettuce if you're a high roller, and some chips.

A giant pot of chili served with rice can be made cheaply & still taste good ... Beef stew will also serve you well.

 :D

But seriously, you can't go wrong with hot dogs. And are you sure 2 kegs will be enough? :D

Burgers and dogs...or ramen. I bought like a 12 pack for like 60 cents the other day. 2 kegs sounds kinda weak for 3 days.

This is what my fraternity does:

Breakfast:
french toast & eggs
sometime you can find pre-cooked hams cheap (all you have to do is slice it up and heat it in a skillet).
sometimes you can also find bacon reasonably cheap

Lunch/dinner:
HUGE vats of chilli (made ahead of time - we would just heat it once we got there)
oh, make sure you bring LOTS of extra bread (it goes great for dunking in the dhilli)
hot dogs / hamburgers (assuming you have a grill), just get the premade patties
spaghetti (we would have this as the last dinner and would take any left over chilli and add it into the spaghetti sauce)

various powdered drinks that you could by the gallon (this will help make your beer last too)

That's all I can remember now. It's been a few years since I've went on retreat :(
