So, this morning as I wasmessing around, my computer froze. I didn't think much of it, so I waited a bit, then held down the button until it turned off. When I turned back on my computer, things were kind of different.
Instead of logging me on without a password like I usually had, it asked me to enter my account and password. Not really thinking about it, I did, and I was at my desktop again. When I tried to connect to the internet, it wouldn't. Internet Explorer, Steam or Instant Messeging programs all wouldn't work.
I thought maybe it would if I restarted. So I went to the shutoff tab and instead of the winxp style that was usually there, http://www.wintricks.it/recensioni/xpgifs/shutdown.gif , it was like windows 2000, http://www.is.tcu.edu/helpdesk/faculty/Win2K/images/shutdown.gif.
I didn't mind, I guess, so I restarted, but my internet still didn't work.
So I have two questions, 1, How can I get my 'net back?! and, 2, How do I change my XP back?
Also, I tried System Restore, in case maybe a setting was changed, but it won't restore... it restarts the computer and then says "Cannot restore to restore point, no changes have been made". :\
