Here is two that I'm looking at:

MSI G3TI200-D(MSI-8851) GF3 TI200 64MB DDR with DVI+VGA CABLE VIDEO CARD - RETAIL Could not find any warrenty info on MSI web site.

or this one:

VGA PNY Geforce3 TI200 64MB DDR TV/DVI LIFE TIME REPLACEMENT BY PNYWinFast GeForce3-Ti (Titanium Chip), 64MB DDR Memory onboard, 4ns, Supports VGA, TV & DVI-out, Retail Box. Life time replacement by PNY. for $175

Anyone have any info on these companies and cards? Which of these two would you pick? After doing a lot of research it seems to me that the ti200 is the best bang for the buck. For $175.00 would you buy something else? Also anyone bought from newegg.com and have any problems? And thanks for any info you post.

Both are good cards, Newegg is a pretty good shop.

I'd lean towards the PNY, never had problems with their products.

forums are slow today..

Why not go with Visiontek? They are good... Life Time Warranty.. Good 2D (In the GF2's day, now all GF3's 2D are probably the same).
and if you are lucky, you might get one of those cards that have 3.8ns memory.

$182.00..?! You, you, you mean $7.00 more..?! OMG! Call the police! LOL.. Ok, in all seriousness, I'd go for the Visiontek GF3 Ti 200 -- it seems to be one of the better one's out there -- in fact, I bought one myself.. 🙂

Some brands have better 2D image quality than others. I would pay a bit extra and get the better brands like Leadtek or Gainward to avoid potential problems.

I personally vouch for Leadtek. I have the Leadtek Ti500 and it absolutely rocks.

Yup, Leadtek and Visiontek are two of best manufactures for nVidia based video cards.
DVI = Digital Video Input
I don't think you will be needing that if you are asking that it is.......
$7 is not really that much... Personally, I am even willing to pay $20 EXTRA for the better 2D.... (honestly)

<< Why is the visiontek better? >>

Like I said, Visointek has better 2D and some of its GF3 Ti200 are equipped with 3.8ns.

<< DN

Why is the visiontek better?

Anyone know what DVI is?

What games are you playing? The best deal out there right now is the GF2 GTS visiontek value card at newegg.com fr $65!!! I have a GF3, radeon AIW and this card and cant tell any difference between the geforce cards when playing HL, Wolf or unreal. So save yourself so cash and get a very fast card with the visiontek.

DVI is digital vidio input used for lcd displays

Visiontek probably has the most experience manufacturing nvidia cards right now. Hell, they probably make more than half the cards out there.

Thanks all....

I went with:

VISIONTEK Xtasy 6564 (GeForce3 Ti 200 Graphics Chipset). 64MB DDR. 4X/2X, AGP. TV / S-Video Out. Retail. $182.00
